RedRover Relief Safe Escape Grant
RedRover Safe Escape Grants help families and pets affected by domestic violence stay together safely. Applications must be submitted by a domestic-violence shelter representative or advocate on behalf of a survivor. Assistance is mainly for up to 45 days of pet boarding while the survivor is in a domestic-violence shelter; vaccinations required to enter boarding may also be considered. RedRover states that boarding assistance is generally limited to three or fewer pets per family, subject to exceptions. Payments go to the boarding kennel and/or veterinarian. The program is available only in the United States and assistance generally ends when the survivor leaves shelter.
