Frankie's Friends National Fund
Frankie’s Friends provides financial assistance grants for family-owned pets facing lifesaving emergency or specialty veterinary care when caregivers cannot afford the full cost. The National Fund requires that the pet has already been seen by a licensed veterinarian, has a clear diagnosis and treatment plan, and has a good prognosis with treatment. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, and the treatment plan must not already have been paid because the program does not reimburse prior payments. Grants are paid directly to the treating veterinarian and will not exceed $2,000 per pet per household. The program does not cover initial examinations, diagnostic testing, routine care, spay/neuter, euthanasia, strays, rescue organizations or foster pets.
