WomensNet is giving away three $10,000 Amber Grants every month, and the October round closes October 31, 2026. You can apply if you are a woman who is 18 or older and you own at least half of a business in the United States or Canada. Your business can still be just an idea. It is a gift of money, so you don’t pay it back.

You can spend the $10,000 any way you like. For example, you could buy equipment, pay for a website, or stock up on supplies for your new business.
To apply, you fill out a short form. It asks two written questions about your business and what you plan to do with the money. The form costs $15 to send in. If you can’t afford it, you can ask for the fee to be waived by emailing info@ambergrantsforwomen.com.
You only need to send in one form. That one form is considered for every grant you qualify for: the general Amber Grant, a Startup Grant if your business is brand new or has made under $10,000 in sales, and a rotating Business Category Grant. This month’s category is Creative Arts, so if you make art, crafts, music or similar work, you get one more chance to win.
Winners are told by the 21st of the following month. Every monthly winner also gets a chance at one of three bigger $50,000 prizes, which are picked in December and announced in January.
